I feel a great need to write this poem
At a time when I am sitting at home, all alone.
I have a desire to write about a time in my life
When a meeting took place,
I walked into a room,and first seen your face.
I had no idea at the time that you were the one ,that my heart would long for,and the man I would falll for.
We were just friends from the very beginning,
Spending time together was innocent enough.
You would always be a friend and never be rough.
We found that we could talk about anything and there was soon a bond that no one could break.
Our first kiss made me tremble and shake.
All my senses seemed so alive and awake.
When I think back to when we first met,
I feel a deep love that has grown stronger over the years.
What started out as friends blossomed into a great love.
That has withstood the test of time.
And one thing I know for sure,is someone had to be watching over me,
Because I never knew there was a loving,
kind,gentle
man such as you.....
