Poetry: Life Long Love
I need you
by Louise

I've been loving you for nine months but how can it be
That all I have achieved is the occasional momentary look
Please can you listen to me, oh can't you see
That the day I met you, my heart you took

Before I never believed in it but with you it was love at first sight
I'd spend many a night dreaming of what your life resembled
This was the only love that had taken me to a new height
I tried to hide it but every time I saw you I trembled

I tried; I swear I did, to keep my feelings for you undisclosed
But I couldn't help it; I just wanted you to know
How much I truly loved you
So my love it started to show

I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble
I'm sorry if I caused you any strife
The truth is now
I want you as part of my life
