Poetry: Life Long Love
Let Go
by Oti Oboh

How can you see me through this foggy glass window?
The dark holes that surround your path,
Try not to fall in but let go of the burning rod you hold,
Let go of everything that you have come to pass
Your bleeding soul reflects your haunted past
But you don't know how to listen
Black lines that draw your fate
The broken picket lines that guard you
Stead fast, bleed slowly, hear me and let go
Let go of everything that you have come to pass
Your bleeding soul reflects your haunted past
But you don't know how to listen
Let go, let go!
Your hand are burning with the rod you hold
Let go, let go!
But you don't know how to listen,
I watch you fall, and what remains I cannot see
For I am peering into these dark holes
