Poetry: Life Long Love
Whisper
by Leah DiPietro

A moon lit sky the light blue clouds, the stars shine as the moon comes out. A whisper of darkness feels like there's something standing on my shoulder there is a devil with pointed ears & tail he whispers to me in a strange tounge " fair thee well" and "may it be" wont you come out & play with me? whose words these are i think i know, the devil upon my shoulder wo. What came to pass it is what i fear my soul is floating its lost up there. A whisper something why cant i regret as the evening red moon sets the valley out west was this a test, no ...no the trees sway, my heart sinks & then he's gone, the sky turns blue a bright ornage sun& clouds all a glow but then a thunder rolls, in the deep balck sky again, & then the grass turns to black. A whisper something so calm something.... but no words so.. nothing
Just a whisper.
