I lay in bed and I ask you why?
Why would you take such a great person?
Why couldn’t I have her for a little while longer?
Why did she have to go?
Why am I saying why?
I realize in stead of asking why,
I should say Thank You.
Thank you for blessing us with her for so long.
Thank you for creating such a
Beautiful, intelligent, talented women,
For me to know and learn from.
She was one of your greatest creations.
Many have learned and grown stronger
From her strength and wisdom.
Thank you for blessing us with a Nana so kind and sweet.
Thank you I couldn’t have asked you for a better gift.
Please care for her and tell her this:
We all love you and will miss you dearly Nanna.
