Still Thinking Of You.....


As I look at the stars at night
I think of how our life was bright

So filled with laughter and love
I realize I still miss your Hug

I pray that you are well and okay
I just want to see you and say hey

I remember flashing my bedroom light
Then running to look into the night

Hoping to see you return the favor
Yeah, it was small things, nothing major

I still think of you on most occassions
when I am home or even on vacation

I miss you most when I dream of you
waking up in a sad mood

The feeling lingers throughout the day
confused, hoping it don't go away

I guess what I am trying to say
is no matter what I love and miss you anyway

I remember the letter I wrote sometime ago
I think you took it, as if I was saying no

I was writing with compassion, my feelings that day
If I hurt you, I didn't mean it in anyway

They say you are doing well now that you married again
But that doesn't make my feelings end

God Bless you and your new wife
I hope you both have a wonderful life

Take care of her she's a precious thing
I know how she feels, you're an angel without wings

As I think of you and our past
I am sorry what we has did not last

I still love and miss you with all my heart
I wish we didn't live so far apart

You tought me to love you
now I have to learn not to

It's not easy, I think of you all the time
I know one good day in heaven you will be mine

It's difficult to write feelings on paper
I guess that goes with human nature

I hope this finds you in Gods loving care
