I WISH

I wish I was a cat,
then I'd know where I am at
I'd belong to someone, for sure,
at a slight touch I'd purr
I'd feel cared for, yet could roam
anywhere....anytime.....and still come home
I wouldn't have to look pretty
could live away from the city
there would usually be something to eat
no matter what - would land on my feet.....
