The thing about the rain
is it hides your tears of pain
hides your tears of sorrow
until a better tomarrow
washes away the blood
and stirs up the mud
arises every feeling
of love and heart stealing
brings about the shame
of every lust you couldnt tame
breaks down your wall
and pushes you to an emotional fall
makes you do stupid things
with all the memories it brings
but theres something about the rain
a feeling i can not sustain
a feeling of love
for the rain is truly a gift from above
its a million angles crying
for those who contemplate dying
showing us the way
and walking us to a better day
