Remember

Remember
I remember laughing loud,
The sun going in and the darkened cloud,
I remember too, how we did not care,
as the rain poured down soaking our hair.
We stood, our faces to the sky,
our arms outstretched, we were laughing,
we were high!
I remember best, the simple things,
of all life's pleasures and what it brings,
I remember you, the gentle lover,
Our arms entwined.
We had each other.
