God Bless America
What could this be,
How could this happen,
To the land of the free?

Buildings burned,
Airplanes crashed,
people died,
flags flew half staff.

The tower began to fall,
With people scared and filled with rage,
Of the terrible distaster,
Happening in this day and age.

I prayed for my country,
My family and friends,
For the guidance of our Lord,
If we have to take revenge.

Little children without parents,
So innocent and small,
What will they do when they find out,
That their parents were in the fall?

Lord be with our country,
Bring us together to pray,
For our safety and our future,
For our lives are forever changed.

Jesus died for our sins,
He gave up His life,
He cares for us all,
Even when we're not right.

Lord, be with the president,
Help him to be strong,
To lead this country onward,
Through the right and through the wrong.

Help us to make peace,
To have done everything we could,
Be kind to every person,
And live like Jesus would.
