Mothers
by Daniel Harris
Through wind, rain, sonw, pain
they stand against the odds,
they are tough as nails
and are stronger than steel rods
they are brave
yet scared
but this they do not show
for when it cares time to fight
they raise their fists to show
They are many
sometimees few
but this we do not care
for when we are in trouble
they are always there
Some here are physical
some are in spirit
but when something goes down
there here to get us through it.
They take life's beatings
and all of it's let downs
but they always make us smile
when we have frowns.
Through out the ages
they have taught us
so amny things
and yet it's said it's only one day
we celebrate these things.
They have the course of a lion
the stength of a bear
the grace of an eagle
all with tender loving care.
They are the strongest
with great mighty force
but still with a gentle touch
with love that burns like a torch.
there is no greater force
on the planet
this is plain to see
than those who are mother's
to people like you and me.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
