Poetry: Special Days
Crazy Dream
by Melissa

I sit on the sand gazing onto a vast area full of
tears of a million broken dreams
I cry for myself and it half of those are mine it
seems
As I let everything but joy fill my mind
And let go of sorrow, for I have tried
The waves crash against me baring down on my
chest
It floats me out to sea to join the rest
The others who feel emptynous in their dreams
Nothing but nightmares ending in chilling screams
Love and happiness have been forgotten
The treacherous of all fates is what I've gotten
Well now a life of ease is seen across the fog
To get to it I must croos the tsunamis and smog
But that is the best choice I do say
As deadly as the waters seem don't get caught by
dismay
For I can catch up with what I dreamt before
Yes, I just might reach it, maybe even more
Just to have a little chunk of goodness of what
remains
Just a bit of hope would be a gain
To help me get to where I wish to be
Back to where I was in life, and back to a not so
crazy dream
