Nocturne for Prairie Castanets
by Allan Traphagan
It's always someone's reinvention
for a new decade that stumbles the
experiments curious language and
writes it down as a fact......
But total balance can be emotional
death, indifferent and careless...
casting a shadow immune from
shock, strangled in monochromatic
formalisms.
Out here on the plains, everyone
whom thinks, has his mouth
wide open and his eyes shut.
The Crickets are cranking up again...
no one knows what it means,
but we never get tired of it.
