Family will be there
The spark and the
Backbone to life
With love and nature’s wishes
Your relationships will transcend it all
But that doesn’t change the fact that
I miss you

The unquenchable need to be with you
Satisfied in the hours we are together,
The feeling returns the minute we part.

It starts small from the smile still on my face
From being with you
But the longing grows with time
And the desire only pauses
With your voice
