Oh! How I Miss You!
by Richard M. Joseph III
Oh! How I Miss You!
Since you have left,
My mornings became obscure.
And my nights the shadow of my nightmares.
Oh! How I miss you.
I never had any nightmares before,
But since your presence has forsaken my soul,
I have been having trouble sleeping at night.
Since you let my soul without a shelter,
My heart has started to weaken and gotten older.
My days have brought only troubles upon me.
Oh! How I miss you.
My life is becoming more miserable and senseless.
You were the one that my soul used to cherish;
Now that you are gone, who's left to be cherished?
Since you left my heart without any hope at all,
My soul has been longing after you...
My life depended on the affection you used to give me;
Oh! How I miss you.
You were my rainbow and my shadow when I felt low.
Now that you are gone, who shall be my comfort?
Oh! How I miss you.
