Thoughts of War
War is something no body wants to talk about,
It's bloody, messy and dangerous.
But, think of how the Marine's feel,

When they are trapped in a room,
With a gun pointed at their head!
What would be going through your mind?

How would you be feeling right before you die?
Are you thinking of your family and the pain they will go through,
Or, that little girl at home, whom you'll never get to be there when she brings home that teenage boy.

Can you imagine the smell of body sweat from a rotting corpse?
Can you taste the tears of red water running down your face?
Do people understand the courage it took for you to be where you are right now?

War is NOT a laughing matter!
It is scary and frightening.
It waste money and all you're trying to do is stay alive.

But, that Courage an the Honor that you're bringing to your family is well worth the effort to stay alive.
