Wondering
by Carmen
Wondering what to do,
wondering what to say,
And Im really beginning to wonder if you'll be ok,
I'm wondering if today’s your death day,
Or if you'll die another day,
If you'll come home safe,
If Ill ever see your face,
And Im hoping that’s the case,
Because my patience is as thin as lace,
With all the tension inside of me I could break a million dollar vase,
I want you to come home,
Im feeling so alone,
Im wondering if you'll come home soon,
Because I know your life could be gone with just one boom,
And poof you'd be gone forever,
There would be no more hanging together,
I know this is an everlasting feeling inside of me,
And so many parts of me want to weep,
You've just taken a huge leap,
And I don’t know if I can watch,
If I followed I'd be lost,
This chance you've taken it's a deadly cost,
the cost of life,
there goes your chance of a wife,
now you've closed so many doors,
more and more I stop and think
and realize you could be gone in a blink,
And I can't imagine life without you,
Things around here would be dim and blue,
Just give me a clue,
give me a clue that you care,
Give me a clue that when I knock on your door you'll be there,
I know life is unfair,
but you can't leave me,
not just yet,
As I realize you're controlling planes and jets,
Make me a promise one last time you'll visit,
Before life decides to quit
