to please, tell me what's on your mind....
What would you say.........anything?
or would you have to pause and think.
Or would you instead have it all ready to say....

Would it be only one word, or many......
or nothing.
If I asked you just one more time.

We agreed that what was past was past,
and to concentrate on today.
And I try very hard to do just that about us
but somehow....my mind pictures us more
The way we lived and were......back then.

So, I am trying to picture you and ask you now.....
