Poetry: Kisses
Kiss
by Katie Rediger

The floor is tilting
The walls are closing in
Staggared breathing
The room begins to spin
Warm gentle feeling
Butterflies inside
Tender lips parting
Longing tongues collide
Pounding hearts
Searching hands
As we draw appart
Then together again
Eyes flash
Juices flow
Senses collapse
We're all alone
Bodies embrace
They hold on tight
Face to face
No reason to fight
Anxious yet soft
Your lips pull desperately at mine
And I give up
With chills all down my spine
Everything goes black
I close my eyes
As you move to my neck
While lightly caressing my thighs
You drive me crazy
I can hardly stand
I feel dizzy
At the slightest touch or your hand
Your kiss affects my entire body
Outside...and in
Emotionally...and physically
I get weak whenever you lift my chin
And i dream every night
Of the very next time
You'll take me in your arms,
Where I'm safe from all harm,
When you'll look into my eyes
Then tell me that you love me
And kiss me like
You've been waiting to kiss me
For all your life.
