Poetry: Kisses
From The Clouds
by Jeremy Ambrose Brookhart

Proud and full as the Cumulonimbus,
They fill passions space with love.
Light and wispy as the low lying fog,
Others brush by with the grace of a breeze.
Etched with the progression of ages use,
There are those that have seen many embraces.
Weathered from winters harshness,
As some have felt the caress of Jack Frost.
So simple the feel and symmetry of this,
Yet so complicated their history,
The true gateway to the heart and soul,
These lips are the beginnings of the kiss.
