Poetry: Kisses
The Kiss
by Danielle Boulanger

I wonder what it would be liked to be kissed. Yes the virgin of everything, not even a kiss. No a real kiss. Of passion, of love, of wanting. Dancing a new dance. Kisses. Oh what I would give for a kiss. Not any kiss. The one I talk about. Oh the beauty of man kind. I just want to draw them, touch them, kiss them. Kiss. What is a kiss. A caress with the lips. Admiration. A kiss is so many things love, friendship, family, greeting. OH what is a kiss? What does a kiss end up as. No I want to wait for marriage, but do I? Oh the caress of so many things. But they do not always mean love. I want love. Am I ready for love? Is anyone ready for love? Of course not. Never been in love the temptation is so great. But who shall I fall in love with. Not just anyone. The kiss.
