Poetry: Kisses
August Night
by Leah Juarez

It happened one night
With music drowned behind
Your eyes spoke to me
Within your gaze I was entranced
I dove in deeper
Your lips caressed my skin
A single thought did pass
No words were spoken
Innocent and pure
Our mouths interlocked
So bold your tongue was
And sweet to the taste
Within your grasp I did burst
In this surrender, we were one
No use for words
Only the pulsating rhythm I felt
As our bodies sang to each other
My heart did melt
