Poetry: Kisses
The Kiss
by The Only S Money

You gave me a kiss
It felt like this;
Wind tingling all senses,
The sun shining relentless,
Trying to show the love
Despite the clouds hovering above.
The trees spy in the distance
While our lips danced.
The trees rustle in protest
We hoped they wouldn't notice
But we can't hide our feelings.
The connection; the trees sealing
The don't want us to be
But how can it be stopped by just she?
The kiss goes on
Til the wind is gone
The moon pokes through
Even though the trees grew
We run into the distance
See where we got with persistance?
We kiss in the moonlight
All the way to the end of the night
