Poetry: Kisses
stolen kiss
by Joel Taylor

Last Night I Stole a kiss,
I aimed for her cheek and missed.
As she leaned in I turned my chin and briefly our lips met.
What could have been?
What might to be her
thoughts are a big mystery?
What might I think today,
my feelings aren’t something to betray.
So man you’re gun and point it straight
cause feelings will never be late,
they are always their sometimes unfair
but that’s the way love goes.
