i await the day until we touch,
your eyes bring a sparkle you see for miles away
i get lost into a dreamland until the following day,
your voice so soft and so sweet
i prayed for the day that we would meet,
now your here and i have to wait
but only time will tell if its lust or fate,
the way i feel when your around
is more than any treasure yet to be found,
i once was sad but now i'm not
because of you and the warmth you brought,
i hope you stay and see i'm real
and then you'll understand the way i feel,
the way you look and the way you smile
makes me know the wait is worth the while,
so through the oceans and trees to the sky above
i hope someday i'll see what it is to be in love!
