Poetry: New Love
Rain Love
by Meg. Sajovic

It was pouring outside
He opened the door only to reveal the girl who fell for him
She wanted him to love her more than anything for as long as she could remember
Please she said im only asking for a chance
She didnt kno but he loved her since the summer
Silence there except the rain racing from the sky
He stepped out of the door way close enough to the person hes lived next to since he was in 2nd grade
They took a shaky breath and leaned in;holding eachothers faces
Lightning struck
Thunder crashed
and true love had been brought upon them
