Poetry: New Love
Spring Break
by Sarah

They were completely opposite
brought together for a week
needless to say in time
neither could complete themselves
It started with just a dance
and a touch not to forget
they knew in thier hearts
this, neither would regret
Time spent together
was the only time at all
he was a sweety
and she was a doll
he'd look at her special
and she'd smile back
they really were something
nothing could crack
But then came the end of break
something to remember
neither wanted to leave or say good-bye
and then the final surrender
to themselves and to each other
they were finally able to confess
neither wanted to let go
neither would love each other less
with a short good-bye
and a twinkle in his eyes
their hands somehow let go
she leaves, trys not to, but crys
will they keep in touch?
will together they stay?
will they see each other again?
the answer:only time can say
