Poetry: New Love
Don't Know I Do
by Chris Meiner

Don't know if I've heard the winds of her soul at my feet.
Don't know if I've danced on her petals of love in the late night street.
I've felt her gentle touch in the evengings darkness.
I've woken up next to her feeling her red skies tenderness.
Don't know if our immacculant dreams horizon will make the angels cry.
I don't even know if our love will have a reason to scale by.
sweet revenge did not cross our souls, nor did the arrow miss it's hole.
My eyes shed no blindness, my hands bound free.
I just want you to leave the arrow inside me.
Even if you don't know I do.
