Poetry: New Love
YOU HAD ME @ HELLO
by ?

Before i met you
the words were foreign to me,
My mother was the only one
who'd hear me say L-O-V-E.

It was something about your eyes
That put me in retrospect.
We were feeling each other's vibes
Or the internet like how our lines connect.

I wanted to reach out and touch you
Not even knowing what I would say
But your boyfriend's muscles
Kept me at bay.

I froze, yet chose, to keep staring.
Who knows, winds blow, things into your bearing.
What your were wearing.
Had me hypnotized.
And yet I noticed every detail about you
By just looking into your eyes.

This moment is a suprise
But i know it won't last.
Cuz good things come and go they always pass.
But until we break eye contact,
My thesis was right.
You had me @ hello. Love @ 1st sight.
