Poetry: New Love
Dying Forever
by Jessa

She was taken slowly.
Piece by piece.
Little by little.
She is now deceased.

Leaving us with questions.
She was so kind.
Why was it her?
Why were we left behind?

We are here,
To work and clean.
To pray and worship.
To laugh and sing.

We die from life.
We live to die.
We come to go.
Death comes in a sigh.

She was wonderful.
She was the best.
She left them all behind.
All of the rest.

Dear God.
She was great.
I loved her.
She is a saint.

Why did you take her,
Away from me?
She is gone now forever.
Gone away into the sea.

She has be dying forever.
Ever since birth.
We all have.
Since the beginning of earth.

I am dying.
So are you.
Sonn will come the day,
When we run out of fuel.

She was taken slowly.
Piece by piece.
Little by little.
She is now deceased.
