Poetry: New Love
Summer Love
by Amanda

Summer, oh, it’s the best season of all,
It’s better than spring winter or fall.
Warm summer breezes blow through my hair,
As I sit on my hammock without a care.
Summers are so beautiful, and they go so fast,
I’ll be so sad when it’s gone at last.

Some people say that during the summer you’ll fall in love,
With someone you think is from Heaven above.
You’ll spend the summer together at the beach or a park,
And you’ll stay watching the sunset until its dark
But if you don’t, that’s ok,
You’ll find true love another day.
