Sexy Stereotypes

It's not hard to think of a few sexual stereotypes:

Short guys try harder. Strippers are great in bed. Tattoos and piercings reveal a kinky streak. And don't get us started on librarians and private school girls.

So we wondered, are sexual stereotypes accurate?

He Says:

But these kinds of generalizations come around for a reason. Is it so hard to believe that a chick who mutilates her body with ink or a piercing likes other things that are a little intense? Or that a girl with a prim-and-proper job doesn't want an opportunity to let her hair down? Or that the stripper who moves in such provocative ways won't also know her way around a man's body? There is such a thing as a safe assumption sometimes.

She Says:

Stock photo for article.True, generalizations have to be based on something - but I think in this case they're usually just based on the fantasies of men played out in their minds and in the media. A tattoo, for example, doesn't mean she's promiscuous. Unless maybe it's a tattoo of flames shooting out of her genitalia. So next time you're tempted to make an assumption about a woman's sexuality, first consider whether or not you'd want her to make any judgments based on your looks or how you make a living.
