One For The Books

I had just broken up with my boyfriend of four years when a guy at work asked me on a date. Since I was newly single and broken-hearted, I was hesitant to say yes. Since he knew my current situation, he agreed that the outing would be casual and friendly, nothing more. Because of this, I agreed to follow through with the plans. The day of the date, I met up with him after work. He wanted to go home to change clothes and promised me it would only be a minute. When we got to this place, he quickly changed, but then he strangely insisted upon showing me pictures of his family and friends on this computer. After an hour at his place, I was starting to get a little impatient and hungry. I mentioned that it would be a good idea to go to the restaurant. But instead of leaving, he grabbed me, pinned me down to the ground, and starting kissing me. I immediately tried to excuse myself to the restroom but he wouldn't let me up. When I finally made it to the restroom, I called my now current boyfriend (a friend at the time). He told me he'd pick me up and end the date, but I told him that I had no idea where I was! When I got out of the restroom, I immediately made my way to the car and told him I'll wait for him out there. On our way to the restaurant, he told me he had to make one more stop. He took me to two different houses to try and introduce me to his friends. When we couldn't find them, he took me to his old high school where a football game was in play just to find his friends. I insisted several times along the way that I simply wanted to eat. I told him we could meet his friends afterwards, but he just ignored me. Maybe an hour later, we arrive at the restaurant. Before we order or even eat, he tells me he forgot his wallet and told me he'd pay me back later. I was hungry and angry. I just wanted to eat and go home! When we left the restaurant, he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to go parking. So much for casual and friendly! Oh, to top it all off, it took him a month to pay me back but not without constant questioning! This date should go in the hall of fame for the worst date ever.
