My Perpetual Circle
Well, I have always liked this guy. We would always hang out, and he knew that I liked him. He would always flirt with me even though he had a girlfriend. He seemed to like older girls. He told me that if he and his girlfriend broke up then he and I would be together. Well, they broke up, and we started to see more of each other. Then I found out he was going out with one of my good friends. She was someone I would always talk to him about. I was pissed. To get back at her, I messed around with him the whole time they were together. She never found out, but I did get them to break up! Well, if you thought that was bad, next he started to date his ex-girlfriend again! That was when I decided to move on. About three years had gone by when he came back around. He asked my best friend about me and had me go over to her house so we could talk. I hadn't even thought about him in so long! We hit things off real fast. The one thing that bothered me was that his ex-girlfriend was still in the picture after all these years. He explained that he had told her he was in love with me and that he couldn't see her anymore. So, that made it better. We started dating and were together for eight and half months when he broke up with me because someone told him that I was with this other boy that he hated. It wasn't true, but we still spilt up for five months although we never completely stopped talking. I later came to find out that he was dating his best friend's girlfriend. So much happened during those five months we were broken up. I asked him if he was with her, but he repeatedly denied it. The girl denied it for a long time, too, until one day I finally got the truth out of her. They eventually broke up, and I took him back. We were together for about a year this time until I finally broke it off with him. I left him because all I could think about was him and her being together. I know it was a year later, but I just couldn't forget about it. He would always swear to me that he never did and never would like her. Well, the two of them started to hang out a lot again, and I was told they were together. Like always, he wouldn't tell me the truth. He told me he was hanging out with her to get me back for breaking up with him. He told me he loved me and wanted to get back together. This was three months later. As if you couldn't have already guessed, yup, I took him back! We were together for another two years, and he has just broken up with me again because someone told him that I kissed another guy. Again, it wasn't true, but I let it go. I wanted him to find out the truth. Well, it started to bother me that he hadn't called or anything. So, I started calling him and writing him letters. He says that he loves me and wants to be with me, it's just that he needs some time right now to figure things out. Well, a few days ago I found out that he was dating a girl that was going with the same friend of his from the last time. I guess his buddy knows how to pick them. This girl is four years younger than him and is everything he told me he didn't want in a girl. It has only been two months now since we have been broken up. He called me the other day because he found out that I knew about him and his friend's girl. He told me it wasn't like that. He swore that there was nothing between them, yet he missed my graduation because he was with her. I don't know anymore just what I should believe, and whether or not I should take him back.
