Documentary Dating Disaster
When I was eighteen, I had my first "date" with a boy who I was absolutely in love with. My mom was going out with her girlfriends one night, and I had the house to myself. Kent was going to come over so we could watch movies together, order some pizza, and get to know each other a little better. I was so nervous! I must have spent two hours in the bathroom getting ready. But as 8:00 rolled around, I left the enthralling television show about breast augmentation that I was watching, and went to powder my nose and make sure every hair was in place. I was interrupted by a knock at my door. Kent was there! So, I peeled myself away from the mirror and walked through my room to my living room. I glanced at the TV screen as I passed and on it was a pair of breasts, nipples and everything, totally showing. I reached for the remote to change the channel but nothing happened. My batteries were dead and I didn't have the time to go change them. This absolutely horrified me! I knew I could turn off the TV, but as I peeked out the window, I could see Kent was reading the back of the movie he'd brought and was obviously ready to pop it in. I was freaking out! It really looked like I was watching porn. The doctor on the TV was feeling the patient up and she was making this whining noise because it was after her surgery and she was still sore. It was an absolute mess. I turned off the TV and let him in, and the first thing he did was head for the remote. I snatched it away and flashed him a cute smile, but he got the impression that I was coming onto him and tried to kiss me. I gave him a gentle push back and handed him the remote. It was priceless how it unfolded. He turned on the TV, already having it in his mind that he was going to score big that night, and there was this porno-looking documentary. It was still a screen full of flesh and nipple, and he just started cracking up. He made some comment about how I should show him my own chest so he could make a comparison. Then he got a little grabby and I went into a panic. So, needless to say, I sent Kent on his merry way long before my mom was due home. It was a horrible first date, but it was certainly a learning experience.
