On Monday, I had a doctor's appointment. When I got there, they had a different receptionist. I took her to be in her mid to late twenties. She was asking a co-worker about a walking trail in town, so I spoke up about how nice it was and if I didn't have an appointment, I would walk through with her. She said to tell the doctor to rush it up and we laughed. Well, after my appointment, I went to walk the trail before returning home and down the trail she comes, so I turned back and walked with her. I discovered she has grandchildren like I do. I couldn't believe it; she looked so young. We had a great walk and talk and I'm hoping to get to know her better soon.
