I was dating this girl and I really thought I loved her, so I told her. She hesitated and didn't say it back. I thought maybe she just needed time or whatever, so I kept dating her. I told her I would do anything for her, even move to another state if she wanted to. She said no and was still distant whenever the subject of commitment came up. Finally, her mother called me and told me she was dating and sleeping with at least five other guys besides me. Her mom said she thought I was too nice a guy to be strung along like that.
