Henry was quiet and shy, but seemed really nice. He worked in the same building as I did, but for a different company. When he finally worked up enough courage to ask me out, I agreed. I had kind of wanted him to ask for a while. We went out to a nice restaurant and I tried to be talkative, but he hardly said two words. I am naturally outgoing, so it was hard for me. I felt like I was trying to pull conversations out of him and I wasn't being very successful at it. I figured maybe it was just the public place, so afterward I tried to talk with him in his car as he drove me home. No luck there either. I finally had to tell him we just weren't compatible.
