I worked with a girl who was 10 years older than me. I'd always thought she was incredibly beautiful, but I just never had the guts to ask her out on a date. My buddies all joked with me about it until finally I decided that I would get up the nerve to ask her out. It turned out that she had an interest in me, so I had a really good feeling about the date. I made reservations at a classy restaurant, bought her flowers, and went to pick her up--only to find that she was apparently not there. I knocked at the door quite a few times, but figured that she must have forgotten. Suddenly I heard screaming and yelling coming from within the house. Worried that she might be in danger, I broke down the door and discovered her making up with her old boyfriend. Needless to say, I haven't been on a blind date in a while. -- Tim, 23
