I went on a first date with a girl I knew for a while. I picked her up around 7:00 with some flowers. We went out to eat, and it seemed like we were hitting it off just fine. So, when we got done eating, we went to a club. While at the club, we were joking around and just having a good time. Then she went looking for her friends, and I started to shoot some pool. Well, her friends were not there yet, so I kept shooting while she waited. We danced for awhile and then her friends showed up. Well, after having a few drinks, I had to go to the bathroom. When I got back, she wasn't there. So, I waited around for a while. After some time had passed, I went looking for her. I found her with another guy's arms around her. Thinking it was just a friend, I was going to let it go. But then he kissed her. She saw me and left him. I got totally pissed off when I found out it was her ex-boyfriend. She said it was all nothing, but it happened again with her going missing. This time when I looked for her, I found her with her ex dancing in the corner. Instead of saying, "Hey, my ex and I are going to work it out," she didn't say anything. So, I asked her if she had a ride home. I'm not one to leave someone stranded. I left the club and I haven't talked to her since. Yeah, I was a little naive. But I'll never need to worry about her again. -- Kurt, 24
