No joke, I am totally talking about FEELINGS, not just "doings" and "happenings" and "just becauses"! See, I used to be the kind of guy who wouldn't talk about my FEELINGS. I just went with the flow, you know? I "hooked up." Things "happened." "I don't know why, I just did." "She was there, I was there, beer was there," you know, that kind of thing. And boy, I had my plate full for a while. I am a little ashamed to admit it, but I was the kind of guy that "guys want to hang with and girls want to get with." I made my fair share of mistakes letting myself get caught up in that whole identity vibe. But then it hit me like right between my eyes, that all of a sudden you can develop real, live FEELINGS for someone out of the blue! That's when two souls connect and you have this stab of, OH MY GOD THIS IS FOR REAL! I mean, it's not like the hookups and time you spent with someone get erased or were bad or anything, but this is like a whole different level. So, my story goes like this: The guys took me out for my twenty second birthday. Like, why not celebrate the anniversary of le liberaceon, right? Anyway, we were cruising the bars, were cruising the girls, and suddenly this girl bumped into me and knocked my beer over. But with the sweetest smile (no 'tude) says, "Oh, I'm really sorry about that. I hope this won't stain your shirt." From there I was a goner. I mean, she was dressed to the nines, I was dressed to the nines, and people are all like predatory, and he-says-she-says, but THIS girl is all about being sorry and worrying about my shirt. Then I gave her a second look. She had these amazing blue eyes, amazing blond hair, and had totally the perfect overall look. In addition, she had an amazing attitude. So, we started talking and I joked about the shirt already being dirty and due for the drycleaner. We totally hit it off. We laughed about everything, but in a nice way, not with sarcasm. We've been together for two months now, and I am totally FEELING every minute! I think that she might be someone I could spend a lot of time with. I can really open up to her about what my day was like, what my friends are up to, what's going on in my life, etc. With her it's totally different. It's not like, "Okay, let's hit it!" I mean, she's amazing and all, but we really TALK! And, we share our FEELINGS! That's my message. Guys, find yourselves a girl you can totally share your FEELINGS with.
