Wild Love Confessions

Love, Lust, & Revenge

Avoiding Issues
I had been dating a woman for three and a half years. We were the perfect fit. We loved and shared everything together. There was only one problem - she was straight and I was gay. We loved each other so much, and still do, but she said she couldn't love me the way I needed to be loved. I found out that she had been seeing a guy that I knew nothing about for four months. I found a card telling him that it was scary, but that she loved him. She sent me an email yesterday telling me that she loved me and missed me. I haven't eaten a thing in a week, and have spent most of my time sleeping. I went to my therapist and she said I should think about the good things because we had been so happy together. I don't know what to do. I am so lost without her. She is 46 and never been married. She doesn't deal with confrontations or emotional issues. She just avoids them. -- Scott, 43
