My best friend is a guy and we have known each other for 4 years. We have been doing a lot of talking lately. Last year, he went out with two of my best friends, but we still talked and stuff. After they broke up, I didn't know if I should still talk to him or forget him. Last year, he and I tried a couple things, but we stopped because we didn't want to ruin our friendship. Now, It's a new year and things are a lot better. Things that I've always wanted to happen are happening. We are talking a whole lot now on the phone, computer, and at school. We have plans for Valentines day and other plans for the future, so I guess he thinks that we'll be together in the future. We aren't dating or anything. He says that he doesn't want to ruin the friendship and, if we break up, he doesn't want to stop talking to me like all his other girlfriends because he treats them all like crap. I don't want to be put on that list. Is he leading me on, or is there really something that will come out of this all? -- Linda, 18
