I had a date with a guy that I used to work with. He'd been asking me and asking me to go out with him and, since I was finally single again, I made plans. On the way there, I got stuck in a huge traffic jam and started feeling really nervous. I called some of my guy friends and asked them to come to the date locale. I don't drink often, but the two beers I had made me really tipsy. I wound up going home with my friends and leaving the guy there. I don't think he'll call back. -- Lillian, 23
