This guy and I were supposed to meet for dinner. About two hours before we were supposed to meet, he called me and told me that he promised his friend he would do something with him, and asked if we could all have dinner together. A little disappointed, I said ok. I showed up at the restaurant at the specified time, and to my surprise, they were sitting at a two person table finishing up their meal. As my stomach growled, I stood in disbelief. Instead of asking me if I ate, or if I was hungry, they asked the waiter for the check, and asked me what I wanted to do next.
