I dated a guy who claimed to have PTSD from being in the Army in the war. I gave him a lot of space for his odd behaviors because I thought it was all connected. I met his sister once and commented on it; she told me he had never been in the service, much less a war. Lying on something that big is a deal breaker, sorry.
