I went out with a friend’s sister once; he set us up, but we had never met before. He described her as “full of life” and “happy no matter what.” At the time, I thought those were good qualities. I took her to a nice restaurant and we ordered. I noticed she talked … a lot. In fact, she never shut up. I began to tune her out and eat my meal, when I suddenly heard, “Do you?” I looked up from my meal like a deer caught in the headlights when she continued, “Do you like show tunes?” “Uh, yeah, I guess,” I mumbled. To my shock, she started belting out some song or other, and then dancing around all the tables. Yes, we got thrown out of the restaurant. There is such a thing as too happy. -- Frank, 32
