My worst disaster of a date was actually several dates. He smoothed talked me until I agreed to go out, then he stood me up. Called the next day to say “he forgot.” I gave him another chance and again, stood up. I really had had it by this time, but he called and talked for over an hour telling me about some family emergency that had kept him away. I was stupid and believed him, agreeing to a third try. He showed up for that one, but kept checking his watch and left promptly at 9pm, even though we were in the middle of a movie. I later found out he was married and cheating on his wife, and had to be home at certain times so she wouldn’t suspect. Am I glad I never did much with him! When there are red flags, you really need to check out the guy! -- Stephanie, 24
