Romance On the Road
What He Thinks/She Thinks About Love, Sex, and Who's to Blame
Summer vacations should set the stage for fabulous sex. After all, you've got a week away from work, a change of scenery and less stress. Many couples expect their love lives to improve just because they're in a new zip code, only to find that their problems follow them no matter their destination.
We ask He and She: Can a romantic holiday save your union?
He Says:
Why not? Many relationships are hurt by the day-to-day hassles of heavy workloads, stress and a lack of time to spend together. A vacation is good for all of that. Just buying the plane tickets is an act of foreplay; just planning a sexy vacation can rev your engines. Once you arrive, you get a chance to unwind, reconnect and come back home feeling romantically recharged. Not to mention all the time (and tropical drinks!) you'll have for hot vacation sex!
She Says:
If your relationship is on the rocks, your problems are just going to go on vacation with you or be home waiting for you when you get back. The issues that plague your regular life - money, commitment, sex, whatever - are only going to be more apparent when you're out of your usual routine. Why waste the money on an expensive vacation just to bicker at a more exotic locale?
