Making the First Move

While women may be the last to believe it, surveys show that men actually adore women making the first move. Whether it's calling up for the first date or pulling out the condoms for first-time sex, you can be assertive without having him believe you're fast and loose. Taking control can be a refreshing change for a guy who is often expected to lead the way.

Seducing him doesn't have to be awkward. Foreplay such as kissing and caressing could bring him to the point where a naughty suggestion in the heat of the moment is all you would need to take it all the way.

While this type of coaxing works on most men, Hooper cautions that it's possible he may be the more sensitive type who doesn't respond well to pressure. "If you have any reason at all to think he might not be ready for it, it would be wise to wait for him to make that move," she says.
